Why we opened this campaign
Without long preludes or beautiful stories. Brief and to the point.
Our engineering soldiers from the 271st Battalion, who are right now destroying terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, need 5 thermal scopes to fully equip the entire team and allow them to work effectively at night. The ones provided by the army, unfortunately, are suitable only for daytime use.
Each scope costs 4,000 shekels. A total of 20,000 shekels is needed.
This is not a large amount. You must understand — you are not just helping to buy necessary equipment; you are essentially giving yourself clear skies and peaceful nights over Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ofakim, Sderot, Tel Aviv, carefree days on the beach in Zikim, and the joy of Hanukkah in the kibbutzim of Be’eri, Nir Oz, Re’im, and Ein HaShlosha. A very small price to ensure that our children hear the sound of the “tzeva adom” alarm only in movies.
The fundraising is urgent — we want to make a Hanukkah gift to our soldiers. Every shekel you give is part of our shared defense of the country we love.
