Why we opened this campaign
They have already endured so much—yet now they need our support more than ever.
Larisa and Vyacheslav are a married couple from Ukraine. Three and a half years ago, fleeing the war, they moved to Israel and settled in Bat Yam, hoping to begin a new, peaceful life.
But their trials didn’t end there.
Larisa has been visually impaired since childhood. In Israel, Vyacheslav was diagnosed with cancer. Despite everything, they held on—finding the strength to live and to support each other.
Then came a new tragedy.
During the night of June 14–15, amid a massive missile barrage from Iran, a rocket struck near their home in Bat Yam. Their building was damaged, and they were hurt—physically and emotionally. Once again: evacuation, hospital, a shattered routine, a lost sense of safety.
Now they must rebuild: repair their home, continue medical treatment, arrange temporary housing, and cover expenses they simply cannot manage alone.
We are raising funds to help Larisa and Vyacheslav get through this ordeal. Any contribution is a gift of compassion and warmth they desperately need right now.
No one should face a crisis alone.
