Why we opened this campaign
Smart Chesed is our holistic, long-term strategy to help families in distress regain stability and restore their sense of dignity. Rather than offering one-time relief, we begin by assigning a qualified social worker who carefully evaluates each family’s situation, navigates government benefits, and provides access to essential services.
Once the root causes of financial insecurity are addressed, we determine whether the family still requires monetary assistance.
Where needed, we offer additional financial support in a responsible, targeted way. To ensure sustainable growth, participants enroll in our comprehensive Financial Literacy course, where they learn to manage household budgets, reduce debt, and set meaningful goals for the future.
Graduates become part of our supportive student community, a network of people who share experiences and encourage each other long after the coursework ends.
