Why we opened this campaign
Natalya is a widow. She lives in Bat Yam and, until recently, worked as a hairdresser. A few months ago her adult daughter moved in with her—fleeing rocket fire in the north, where their home had no shelter. Together life felt manageable.
Six months ago Natalya fell badly and broke her shoulder. She couldn’t work for months, and the family survived on her daughter’s modest salary as a dental-office administrator. Bituach Leumi still hasn’t finished processing her disability benefits.
Then the new war began. A rocket. A direct hit.
Their home was leveled. Furniture, appliances, clothing, documents, family photos—everything lies buried under rubble. The daughter was injured by the blast wave. Natalya, overwhelmed by stress, was rushed to hospital with a heart attack.
Today both women are in shock—no roof over their heads, no basic belongings, no real way to earn a living.
Our social worker has already started filing for compensation, but payments won’t arrive soon. Right now they must find a new apartment, buy essentials, and cover urgent medical care. Health-fund queues stretch for months, yet many procedures can’t wait.
We are opening an emergency fund for Natalya and her daughter, to cover the most basic needs until the official aid system catches up.
Your support today is the most vital gift you can give two women who once again face hardship alone.
