Why we opened this campaign
Malka and Dov – a young couple whose story begins with a profound reevaluation of life’s values and the pursuit of their true path. It’s a long and arduous journey, culminating in a happy ending, and you can help make this moment eternal!
Malka was born and raised in Moscow, enrolled in a university in Italy, and received a scholarship that covered her expenses. She dreamt of moving to Israel and becoming a citizen of her homeland, but faced significant challenges.
Many years ago, her father, a halachic Jew, indicated "Christian" as his religion on documents during a consular check. This created a huge obstacle for the entire family’s right to repatriation.
But Malka did't give up. She underwent a conversion for the Ministry of Interior. Although she currently lacks both citizenship and a work permit, she lives in a midrasha and is determined to build her future in Israel. The tragedy of October 7 only strengthened her resolve. She decided to study Judaism, be closer to her roots, and live with her people in her country.
In Israel, Malka met Dov. A deep, true love blossomed between them, and they decided to marry. They set their special date for June 17th (11 Sivan) in Jerusalem – a dream come true!
The couple faces significant financial difficulties. One charitable organization has already stepped in to cover the cost of the venue rental.
Now, we have the opportunity to contribute to their wedding by funding a photography session. This incredible moment needs to be immortalized, so that the couple and their future children can look back at these beautiful photos, reliving the joy of this day over and over again.
