Why we opened this campaign
Very soon, on December 1, 2026, a young couple, Feiga and Aaron, are set to get married. They dream of building a Jewish home, creating a strong family, and beginning their life together with joy and hope.
But today, their happiness is overshadowed by serious financial difficulties.
Feiga is a young woman who is studying to become a preschool teacher. She has already started working at a kindergarten. Her future husband, Aaron, is studying at a yeshiva and also plans to work in the future to support their family.
Both come from modest families. The bride’s parents live in Modi'in Illit: her father is an avreich (a full-time Torah scholar), and her mother works as a kindergarten teacher. The groom’s parents live in Jerusalem. His father also studies in a kollel, while his mother works as a nurse at a health clinic.
Neither family can afford to pay for their children's wedding on their own.
The bride’s parents have managed to find funds for only the most essential expenses. Kindhearted people have already stepped in to cover some of the costs, including sponsors who have offered to pay for the wedding dress and several other wedding necessities.
However, there are still essential expenses that must be covered for the wedding to take place.
The families need help paying for the wedding venue, catering for the guests, and the remaining organizational expenses.
In fact, the wedding has already been postponed once due to financial difficulties. The family now desperately hopes they will not have to postpone it again.
The newlyweds will also be starting their life together with almost nothing. They need the most basic household essentials: a refrigerator, a gas stove, beds, a wardrobe, a kitchen table, and chairs.
Some help has already been secured. Generous people have agreed to donate certain pieces of furniture and household appliances. But it is still not enough.
Feiga and Aaron are not dreaming of a lavish wedding. They simply want to get married, build their home, and begin their life together without overwhelming debt.
We are reaching out to everyone who can help this young couple.
Every donation — 50, 100, 180, or 500 shekels — brings them one step closer to the day they have been waiting for.
