Photographer: Anna Shatz We gathered 80 soldiers, lit Hanukkah candles, and threw a party with a DJ, music, and laughter-filled stand-up comedy. The soldiers laughed, danced, and later enjoyed a feast of barbecue and pilaf. The aroma, the smiles—everything was just perfect. While sharing the meal, we made sure to say “thank you.” Thank you for their daily dedication to keeping us safe. Thank you for their courage. Thank you for always being there when we need them most.
