Our seventh week of war

Our seventh week of war

Last week, the manager of our Foundation, Aharon Tzvi Bakhnarel, along with Michael Nizovsky, traveled to Ofakim to support the Russian-speaking pensioners of the city. We met with them at a supermarket with representatives from the Ofakim city council in attendance.

Thirty elderly individuals, including Holocaust survivors and those who are unable to leave their homes (assisted by caregivers), received the familiar groceries they need, totaling 12,000 shekels.

As is well known, Ofakim was one of the cities that terrorists stormed into on October 7, 2023. Many of its residents witnessed the events of that day. We spoke with our beneficiaries, and they shared a bit about what happened in Ofakim during the "Black Sabbath."

More about the trip in our video:

In Ofakim, there are still 120 grandmothers and grandfathers who need our help. Join us in this project!
