Alexander Bavinov, a sensei and karate teacher, is an authority and a source of strength for his pupils.
Alexander operates two karate schools, located in Ashkelon and Ashdod. His students are winners of many competitions, taking home awards and trophies.
After October 7, 2023, the operation of Alexander’s schools was suspended for three months due to the bombings from the Gaza Strip. Despite the lack of income and governmental financial assistance, Alexander continues to pay rent and utility bills. Banks are not issuing loans, and debt is consuming everything the family has left. Alexander, his wife, and their three children have never been in such a dire financial situation.
Alexander's schools serve as support centers for children and teenagers. They are places where one can momentarily escape the harsh realities and regain strength. A place to catch one's breath, gather thoughts, and receive support. The purpose of this fundraising is to help Alexander and his family overcome these difficulties and continue their vital mission.
If we allow this cause to fail, we will lose much more than just karate schools. We will lose a crucial pillar of reality that nurtures the spirit of our children, helping them to fight against evils that sometimes even we cannot conquer alone. Fight – and win!
