Our sixth week of war

Our sixth week of war

An initiative from our dear friend, Chaya Beila Kogan, in which our foundation is delighted to participate — not just Shabbat packages, but a full meal for soldiers in hot spots.

From the outset of the war, it became clear that soldiers in hot spots were only receiving canned rations from the government. It is well-known that many volunteers took responsibility for specific locations and soldiers under their care, delivering hot homemade meals.

Chaya Beila joined a group of volunteers in Be'er Sheva who were actively assisting soldiers with various necessities. During this process, it was discovered that among the soldiers they were serving, including with food deliveries, there were those who observed kashrut. Chaya Beila then took on the task of providing these soldiers specifically with kosher homemade portions.

Our foundation has taken a financial part in the preparation of these wonderful Shabbat kits (see video).
