Successful help

Thank you for helping the bride

Thank you for helping the bride

A wedding is always a great joy for a family—but also a major expense that not every household can manage.

The R. family are new immigrants who arrived in Israel from Ukraine almost three years ago, fleeing the war. Back in Kyiv, Rivka’s husband studied at the Podol Yeshiva. They have three children, aged 12, 14, and 18.

Immediately after their aliyah, Rivka and her husband took minimum-wage jobs to feed their children and cover basic needs. Despite all their efforts, they could not afford to organize a wedding for their eldest daughter on their own.

The wedding has already taken place—and thanks to you, dear friends, we were able to help with one of the most important items for a religious bride: purchasing her wig (sheitel).

May the Almighty bless everyone who stepped forward to fulfill the mitzvah of helping a bride with her dowry.

Thank you for being with us. Thank you for helping.
