Over the past year, we assisted the Rubichenko family, who found themselves deeply indebted during the pandemic, a situation they could no longer manage on their own. Furthermore, due to fraud by third parties concerning Rubichenko family, their situation deteriorated to the point where the family's entire income went towards paying off loan interest. They had nothing left to cover living expenses or bills. The couple approached a lawyer to file for bankruptcy and turned to us for assistance while their case was being handled.
We are publishing the Rubichenkos' gratitude somewhat belatedly.

With profound gratitude to the Yad Itzhak Foundation and the compassionate individuals who have supported us in getting back on our feet!
A year ago, we reached out to the foundation after finding ourselves in an extreme situation. Friends convinced us that it was okay to ask for help and recommended the Yad Itzhak Foundation.
The foundation received us with understanding, responsiveness, and warmth.
Throughout this time, funds were raised on our behalf so that we could survive, clear the debts we couldn’t have managed on our own, and of course, feed our family.
During this time, we also received moral support and encouragement from coordinators who supported us with kind words.
Today, the difficult period is almost behind us, and we are gradually returning to normalcy, though some challenges still lie ahead.
This month brought many unexpected expenses; the children urgently needed new shoes for Shabbat and Shavuot, and we ran out of money before payday. Throughout Shavuot, I prayed to the Almighty for help, as I didn’t want to consider taking loans again and fall back into the abyss we had escaped.
And then a miracle happened! Right after the holiday, the Almighty sent us aid through Yad Itzhak.
We have now received funds that have helped us pay off our apartment debts and bills. Our entire family expresses our gratitude to the Yad Itzhak Foundation for the financial assistance during our time of need.
