Feedback from Milana

“… I don't know what it means to be healthy. But I do know what it means to struggle for life with disease from the first breath.”

That was the beginning of Milana's appeal to our foundation.

Fortitude, hope, struggle, defeat, and struggle again, all of it about Milana's life, who was born with a diagnosis of a cerebral vascular anomaly with the threat of massive hemorrhage when it ruptures.

Milana moved to Israel with the only thought of undergoing neurosurgery, which would make her daily life easier and, above all, significantly reduce the risk of sudden death. Milana's husband refused to go with her. She moved to Israel with her son and had great hope for a bright future.

Three months after moving in, Milana got worse, she had to undergo an unscheduled surgery, after which the woman experienced health complications. She became unable to work and borrowed money to support herself and her son.

We were to help Milana pay off her debts. After a long and hard work on recovery, Milana is slowly starting to come out of the financial crisis. This is also thanks to your help!

“I, Nikolaev Milana, received help from the charity organization Yad Yitzchok. I am disabled, a single mother, and I have been sick all my life. I have no means of living and paying bills. Many thanks to the people who helped and raised the amount to pay off my debts. Sincerely, Milana.”
