Esther Yosenfeld, a repatriate and convert to Judaism, has been living in Jerusalem with her family for 10 years. During a visit from her mother, who came from Ukraine, her mother suffered a severe stroke. Thanks to the swift response of the medical team and immediate treatment, her life was saved, but she remains paralyzed on her left side.
Her mother now requires urgent rehabilitation, but her insurance only covered the initial expenses, including hospitalization and a critical injection, and has been fully depleted. Rehabilitation, which is vital for her recovery, costs 2,860 shekels per day, and Esther has managed to gather enough funds for the first 10 days. The total cost for 2-3 months of treatment is 100,000 shekels.
Esther has turned to the Yad Yitzchok Foundation for help in raising the necessary funds for her mother’s rehabilitation. Esther has spent years helping others, but now she is in need of support to save and restore her loved one.
