“ I have been bringing up our 8 young children alone for about two years now, trying to help my husband cope with the disease and keep living a righteous life. The doctors do not expect a quick recovery. My husband needs about 1 - 1.5 more years of active physical and medication treatment, quite expensive, to get back to active life, to continue to be the head of the family, and to take care of us financially and physically.
My last pregnancy was very difficult. I spent almost all my time in the hospital, trying my best to keep my unborn baby alive. My husband took over my responsibilities. He managed the household, looking after our 7 small children, and taking care of me.
My husband's health and our financial situation were badly affected. Worries, overwork, and stress put my husband in a hospital bed and temporarily disabled him. Having to shift his attention from caring for the family's financial well-being to domestic chores led to complete financial hardship…”.
The family is receiving state support, but alas! For 10 people, one of whom is seriously ill, it is not enough! Additional money is needed for treatment. There are prescribed procedures that are not fully covered by the insurance.
Our goal is to help this family and support them for 12 months. Keep them from falling below the poverty line!
